Fergie says God made her quit drugs

London: Singer Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas says she quit drugs only because she got a message from god telling her that she was messing up her life.According to contactmusic.com, Fergie struggled with addiction to crystal meth and her singing career was in jeopardy. She says: “I just hit a point where something inside me — I like to call it God — or my gut — told me, ‘You can keep going the way you're going and mess everything up, or you can stick with the master plan, but you have to change s**t.’ So that's what I did!” The singer confessed that she used to tell her parents she was suffering from an eating disorder when they questioned her about her rapid weight loss, caused by her heavy drug use. She said: “I came up with the best explanation I could — bulimia.”
