Single and dealing with it

Carmen Electra of the Baywatch fame is happy to be alone after her divorce from Dave Navarro, husband forthree years

Carmen Electra is taking a break from men. The former Baywatch actress — who was married to guitarist Dave Navarro for three years before they split in July — admits she is feeling lonely after the separation but is not looking for romance.

She told Us Weekly magazine: “I'm not looking. I just want to be alone for a while. But it's scary you know? And you feel lonely, you want to grab onto something, but then you're not really dealing with the experience. You're just looking for a distraction. I want to feel the experience.”

The 34-year-old actress insists she and Navarro have remained good friends despite the break-up.

She added: “We're still really good friends. I don't regret it. Not everything always works out, but we're still friends. That's all that matters.”

The single star now wants to focus on herself and enjoy her independence.

She said: "It's been fun because I've had more time to hang out with my friends It's just nice to reconnect and do fun stuff and have sleepovers, dancing, fun girl stuff."

Gibson is my hero

New York: Courtney Love told friends that actor-director Mel Gibson was a “saviour” to her. Love had been struggling with her addiction and she remained clean for a while but relapsed. Gibson tried to enter her hotel room to help her, but she would not let him in.

An insider said: “He was pounding on her door and hollering for her to open up, and she was cussing him out and telling him to go away. He hung out until a delivery came to her room, and then he sneaked in the door behind the delivery guy.”

Gibson coaxed her to get back to rehab. The insider added:

“Courtney says the incident occurred about a year ago.”

Kevin doesn’t want Britney dancing with other men

Kevin Federline fears that his wife, Britney Spears, will fall in love with one of her dancers, so the wannabe rapper has forbidden Britney to include male dancers in her new video.

Kevin Federline, who has met Britney while back-dancing for her, is now felling a bit insecure and hopes that his wife will fire all male dancers and replace them with female dancers. At least this is what a source revealed “Touch Weekly” magazine.

There are rumours that Kevin got jealous after the “Pop Princess” hired Matt Felker to perform in her upcoming video. Matt Felker, an experienced dancer, also appeared in “Toxic”.

“Kevin insisted that Britney fire Matt and all of the other male dancers she'd hired and replace them with females. He is surprisingly insecure and secretly terrified she will leave him if her career takes off again.” “He’s even telling her she doesn’t need to lose all of her pregnancy weight. Kevin doesn't want Britney to be making sexy moves again,” told a source to “Touch Weekly” magazine.

Kevin Federline and Britney Spears met in 2004 and after year of dating they became husband and wife. The two have two sons, one-year-old Sean Preston and one-month-old Sutton Pierce.

Jealous husband, Kevin Federline is currently preparing the release of his first music album, “Playing With Fire”.

Second-time lucky?

Scary Spice and Eddie Murphy plan to get married next month

It takes a lot to make an eyelid bat in Hollywood. After all, bizarre behaviour goes hand-in-hand with star status in Tinseltown.

But the latest Los Angeles love affair has stunned even the most jaded observers of this city which specialises in make-believe.

Rumours that the actor Eddie Murphy and the former Spice Girl Mel B are actually getting married next month seem just too fantastical to be true. (That’s right) Murphy, the jive-talking superstar, and Mel, the superannuated Spice Girl, want to spend their lives together.

When stories of their curious courtship began circulating four months ago, the relationship was initially dismissed as a publicity stunt. The union or rather, the column inches it generated appeared to suit both their needs.

‘They met at a party in June and hit it off right away,’ says a friend. ‘But no one really thought it was going anywhere.’ But since then, their relationship has become increasingly serious.

Indeed, although Melanie was spotted cosying up to an unknown man in West London’s Electric Cinema recently, the couple’s relationship rapidly seems to be evolving into the sort of celebrity coupledom typified by Tom Cruise and his wife Katie Holmes, or Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie - couples so inseparable they are jokingly referred to as TomKat and Brangelina respectively. Could Mel B and Eddie Murphy morph permanently into ‘Meleddie’?

Born to be wild

Nicole Kidman would like some excitement in her ho-hum life

Nicole Kidman has declared she wants to lead a more ‘wild and dangerous’ life. The Oscar-winning actress was in Rome for the launch of the inaugural Rome Film Festival where she said: “One of my dangerous movies will be showing.”The actress was referring to a film called Fur, a fictional story based on the life of the photographer Diane Arbus who went around New York photographing the dispossessed in down and out areas of the city. The film had to take a fictional look at Arbus’s life because her family refused to give their permission for the film to use real aspects of Arbus’s life. The photographer committed suicide in 1971. In the film Kidman is seen befriending a weird neighbour who is covered in hair. She begins photographing this strange man and has an affair with him. Later in the film, as a way of showing Arbus’s freedom, the actress disrobes and roams around a nudist colony naked. Kidman said that when the story and the role called for nudity she had no trouble doing it. “What’s the problem with taking your clothes off? I just don’t know what the big deal is. If it’s necessary for the film and the role then I take my clothes off. If for a moment I felt that it was being exploitative then I would never take them off.”However, Kidman admitted later that the director rang her morning, noon and night before filming started just

Angelina’s shopping guide

Jolie loves to film love-making scenes with women. After all, she gets to talk about shopping between takes

Actress Angelina Jolie, currently in India to shoot the film A Mighty Heart, likes doing gay scenes because she gets a chance to chat with her women co-stars about shopping between takes. According to sources, Jolie admits she misses girl-to-girl discussions whenever she has to get steamy on screen with a man. The Tomb Raider star said: "I do definitely prefer love scenes with a woman and wouldn't hesitate to do some in the future. I love doing them because between takes you talk about the sales. One minute you're in a passionate clinch with the woman, and then the next you're discussing what outfits to wear for your night out."
